Role Overview
The Direct Sales Agent will actively promote and sell Koolboks products directly to customers within designated areas. This position emphasizes customer acquisition, product education, and growing revenue through field sales efforts. Ideal candidates should be energetic, persuasive, and committed to adding value to customers, especially in last-mile and off-grid communities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective customers via door-to-door sales, market events, and community outreach activities.
- Promote Koolboks products by explaining their features, benefits, and available financing or payment options clearly.
- Consistently achieve or surpass sales goals on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
- Convert prospects into customers and ensure their smooth onboarding process.
- Demonstrate product features to highlight advantages and proper usage.
- Educate clients on product maintenance and applicable payment schemes.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns to foster confidence and encourage purchases.
- Establish and nurture customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
- Provide after-sales support and follow up to ensure client satisfaction.
- Handle basic customer issues or escalate them appropriately.
- Organize daily sales routes and activities to optimize sales opportunities.
- Keep accurate records of leads, sales, and customer interactions.
- Ensure responsible handling of company products and materials in the field.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly sales reports to management.
- Monitor and communicate sales performance, encountered challenges, and market insights.
- Share observations on customer needs and competitor actions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum secondary school certificate or diploma in Sales, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Between 1 to 3 years of direct or field sales experience; experience in selling consumer durable goods is a plus.
- Preferred experience working within local communities and understanding consumer behaviors.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong negotiation and sales expertise.

- A customer-oriented mindset with persuasive abilities.
- High energy levels, resilience, and motivation to achieve goals independently.
- Basic numeracy and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of mobile sales or CRM software is advantageous.
