Description de l'emploi
Role Overview
Winner Engineering Pte Ltd is hiring a Design Engineer to support the Design Manager with engineering design work for M&E ACMV systems. The role focuses on translating project needs into compliant, buildable, and coordinated mechanical services solutions.
What You Will Do
- Study project briefs, technical specifications, and client expectations, including architectural, structural, and MEP inputs, to support calculations, cost estimation, and design objectives.
- Produce M&E ACMV designs that align with project needs, covering equipment selection, material selection, component choices, and the preparation of system layouts and drawings.
- Coordinate ACMV design with architectural and structural work so the building systems remain compatible, support value engineering, and meet safety and technical compliance standards.
- Draft detailed ACMV specifications, including system descriptions, performance criteria, and testing requirements.
- Work with BIM Modellers to develop BIM models that match the design intent and can be used for visualisation, clash detection, and coordination.
- Review and endorse ACMV shop drawings to confirm that construction follows the approved design.
- Observe installation activities to verify that systems are installed properly and meet required performance standards.
- Support testing and commissioning by providing compliance-related inputs for proper system operation and adjustment.
- Keep learning new methods, tools, and technologies, and take on additional work scopes as required by the role.
Preferred Project Background
- Healthcare environments such as hospitals, laboratories, and operating theatres.
- Commercial and industrial developments, including warehouses and factories.
- Government-related projects.
- Data centre projects.

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline is required. Applicants with a degree in Sustainable Infrastructure are also welcome.
- Fresh graduates may apply.
- Prior experience in ACMV project work is required.
- A safety certification is needed, with a minimum of Bizsafe Level 2. Training can be arranged if the certification is not yet obtained.
- Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written, are required.
- The candidate should be able to work independently, show leadership within a team, and collaborate effectively.
- Knowledge of BIM will be an advantage.
- Candidates without experience should be willing to learn, with training provided.
- The role requires the ability to travel between local work sites.

- Career growth opportunities focused on progression.
- Support for further study and learning through sponsorships.
- Flexible working arrangements, including adjustable hours and work-from-home options.
