Role Overview

The Dermatology & Aesthetic Specialist position is a full-time, on-site role situated in Doha, Qatar. The specialist will be responsible for conducting clinical consultations to diagnose and treat a range of dermatological diseases, both acute and chronic, while also performing aesthetic and cosmetic procedures such as laser therapy, injectable treatments, and skin rejuvenation. Maintaining patient safety and satisfaction, documenting clinical findings, coordinating follow-ups, and collaborating with other medical disciplines are key day-to-day tasks. The specialist will uphold regulatory compliance, participate in patient education on skin wellness, contribute to quality enhancement processes, and support a professional, culturally sensitive healthcare environment.

Qualifications and Expertise Required

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completed dermatology residency and specialization from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or official registration in Dermatology and eligibility for medical practice licensing in Qatar.
• Proven clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of inflammatory, infectious, autoimmune, and pigmentary skin disorders.
• Hands-on experience executing aesthetic procedures, including laser treatments, chemical peels, dermal fillers, Botox, and other skin rejuvenation methods.
• Skilled in patient evaluation encompassing medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation such as dermatopathology and laboratory findings.
• Competence in operating dermatology and laser machinery, with strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and quality standards.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication abilities to clearly explain treatment options and build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and continuous learning in dermatology and aesthetic medicine advancements.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team promoting an inclusive, patient-centered care environment.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Previous experience working in a private clinical setting is preferred.
