Role Overview
This position involves supporting the administration, configuration, and optimisation of key library technology platforms including the Integrated Library System (ILS) and LibGuides. The goal is to ensure consistent and smooth access to information resources for users at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
About the Department
The Statistics and Library Division (SLD) under the Enterprise Knowledge Department offers timely and relevant information resources to support MAS operations. As the MAS Library upgrades its systems and digital services, this role plays a crucial part in reinforcing capabilities to meet evolving research, information discovery, and digital access needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise the Integrated Library System (ILS), LibGuides, and other technological platforms.
- Contribute to implementation, enhancement, and transition of library digital systems.
- Support digital content management, workflow automation, and digitisation projects to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Ensure stability and reliability of library technology platforms.
Candidate Profile
- University degree holder, preferably with experience in library science, information management, or digital system administration.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail to effectively coordinate and execute operational tasks.
- Proficiency with digital tools and commitment to supporting process improvements and service upgrades.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication abilities, capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.
Additional Information
This position is offered on a 1-year contract basis. Candidates may need to complete a medical declaration and potentially undergo additional assessments as part of the selection process.
