Overview
Our mission at Lidl is to provide an outstanding shopping experience from the corporate office down to every store aisle. We are seeking a Deputy Store Manager who enjoys leading by example and is ready to advance their career with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with the daily operational management of the store.
- Drive achievement of key performance indicators with a target-focused mindset.
- Lead, motivate, and nurture the store team to enhance performance.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation and merchandising.
- Ensure that stock levels are consistently well managed and replenished.
- Deliver top-quality service to every customer at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Completed secondary education (Leaving Certificate or equivalent).
- At least two years of managerial experience in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Valid full driving license.
- Enthusiastic about working in ever-changing environments, with an ability to meet targets and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Availability to work flexible shift schedules.
- Experience as an Assistant Store Manager is advantageous but not obligatory if you bring a positive mindset.
Compensation and Benefits
- Transparent and competitive pay structure ensuring equal pay across roles.
- Starting salary at €51,000, increasing to €60,000 after three years.
- Annual leave entitlement of 20 days, increasing to 25 days after two years.
