Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department heads, middle leaders, and educators to execute the Pedagogical Improvement Cycle, manage instructional coaching, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Lead curriculum department heads, oversee the Head of Transitions and Enrichment, and direct critical initiatives including literacy enhancement, primary school partnerships, professional learning growth, NAPLAN improvements, and quality assurance of teaching practices.
• Build leadership capabilities across the school by coaching leaders, promoting consistent instructional techniques, facilitating data-led inquiry processes, conducting classroom observations with feedback, and driving evidence-based teaching improvements.
• Monitor and report on critical performance indicators such as literacy progress, student learning gains, NAPLAN data, and the success of school improvement programs, providing regular updates to the Executive Leadership Team and contributing to strategic planning and recruitment.
