Role Overview

As a Daycare Teacher at Ipsaa in Mumbai, you will be responsible for full-time, on-site care and educational support for young children. Your role involves supervising children throughout daily activities, creating and delivering developmentally suitable programs, and encouraging social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play-centered learning. You will communicate with families regarding each child's progress and wellbeing, maintain classroom safety and cleanliness, adhere to organizational policies and child protection standards, collaborate with coworkers, help implement curriculum, and actively participate in staff meetings and professional development.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience in childcare and daycare settings with dedication to ensuring children's safety and welfare.
  • Understanding of early childhood development principles and effective early learning practices.
  • Strong communication abilities to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Skills in contributing to curriculum design and implementing age-appropriate engaging activities.
  • Preferably hold certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related discipline.
  • Exemplify patience, empathy, and the capacity to manage groups of young children calmly and systematically.
  • Basic skills in record keeping and knowledge of safety, hygiene, and child protection protocols.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous training and professional growth opportunities.
