Data Analytics Apprenticeship - March 2027 Start

Program Overview

The Data Analytics Apprenticeship at Google spans 24 months, designed as an immersive learning and work experience combining on-the-job projects and structured external training. Apprentices are expected to work on-site about 40 hours per week at locations including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, or Mumbai. During the program, 20% of time is dedicated to specialized training while the remainder involves collaborating with Google teams to apply data analytics skills in real scenarios.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• At least one year of relevant data analytics experience after graduation
• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Chrome, Docs, Sheets) or comparable applications
• Fluent English communication skills for understanding instructions and learning through documents and presentations

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest or background in data analysis, working with numerical patterns
• Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within teams
• Comfort in handling uncertain or ambiguous tasks and proactively seeking solutions or guidance
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Basic knowledge of SQL programming

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately evaluate data and detect inconsistencies; prepare documentation for knowledge sharing and perform custom analyses to provide insights relevant to Google’s business clients
• Tackle practical data challenges, gain guidance from experienced professionals, and utilize data to assess the impact of Google’s media strategies
• Understand the complete data lifecycle and how various business units use data to address challenges; employ diverse tools and methodologies to synthesize data into actionable recommendations
• Build foundational skills in data analysis by working with spreadsheets and programming languages for data organization and examination

Additional Information & Terms

• The apprenticeship does not represent a permanent full-time position; it has a fixed term of 24 months
• Applicants from recent graduates or professionals aiming to transition into data analytics careers are welcomed
• Apprentices may only apply for full-time positions at Google during the final three months of the apprenticeship
• Location transfers after joining are not permitted
• Submission of an updated resume that clearly states the graduation year is required
• Selection process duration ranges from 18 to 24 weeks
• The role does not provide immigration sponsorship
