Description de l'emploi
Role Overview
This full-time on-site position in Mombasa is focused on turning business data into clear, interactive visual reporting. The role centers on creating dashboards and visual stories that help teams and leaders understand performance, trends, and key metrics quickly.
Dashboard Development and Support
You will create and maintain interactive dashboards using BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or Looker. A key part of the role is building self-service reporting tools that let non-technical users explore information on their own. You will also make sure dashboards remain fast, accurate, easy to use, and properly configured with access controls and refresh schedules.
Data Visualization and Storytelling
This role involves converting complex findings into charts, graphs, infographics, and other visual formats that are easy to interpret. You will work with analysts and engineers to source, clean, and structure data for visualization. The job also requires applying data storytelling methods so stakeholders can understand insights and use them for better decisions, while establishing consistent visual standards and design guidelines for organizational reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration
You will partner with teams such as finance, operations, product, and credit to understand reporting needs and the KPIs they track. The role includes presenting dashboards and walkthroughs to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, collecting feedback, and improving reports based on how they are used in practice.
Data Quality and Governance
Another important part of the job is working with data engineers and analysts to protect the integrity of the data shown in dashboards. You will document data sources, metric definitions, and dashboard logic, and raise issues whenever data quality could affect reporting accuracy.
Innovation and Best Practices
Staying informed about new trends in BI, visualization tools, and design practices is expected. You will help improve accessibility and dashboard usability through better color choices, chart selection, and dashboard UX, and you may also test new visualization methods such as geospatial maps, cohort analysis, and animated charts.
