Role Overview

Joining the team at Uber as a Data Analyst entails tackling complex, high-impact challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analyses on extensive datasets to uncover insights and produce recommendations addressing intricate business challenges.
• Develop and sustain data assets such as dashboards and automated reporting tools to provide stakeholders with comprehensive views crucial for decision-making.
• Interpret ambiguous queries into data-supported solutions, effectively conveying complex technical information in an accessible manner to senior management.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to design analytics tools and improve operational workflows.
• Manage data validation and quality assurance tasks to guarantee accuracy and thoroughness of technical deliverables.
• Adapt to evolving priorities and technical constraints while identifying trends to refine processes and advance business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or closely related disciplines.
• At least one year of experience in a technical data role involving business analytics, intelligence, data science, or engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL with demonstrated ability to craft and interpret complex queries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate expertise in SQL.
• Strong command of analytics and reporting platforms like Tableau, Google Data Studio, Google Sheets, and Excel.
• Experience programming in Python.
• Familiarity with customer support or insight analytics.
• Advanced analytical capabilities with the ability to derive actionable recommendations.
• Track record of leading high-profile projects and influencing stakeholders within cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication skills to present detailed data insights to diverse audiences.
