About the Role
Policybazaar.com is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Data Analyst to be part of their Analytics team. This role demands practical skills in SQL, thorough reporting, and data interpretation to convert raw data into strategic business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather data from diverse sources, ensuring thorough cleaning and preparation for analysis.
- Develop and fine-tune SQL/MySQL queries for effective data extraction and deep analysis.
- Design and generate MIS reports, performance dashboards, and other key business reports.
- Validate data accuracy and integrity to maintain high-quality datasets.
- Examine business trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Provide on-demand reports and data insights to support business stakeholders.
- Build and update interactive dashboards through Power BI or Tableau tools.
- Aid automation efforts to streamline reporting workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to capture reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least one year of experience as a Data Analyst, Junior Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Analytics Executive.
- Proficient in SQL/MySQL, crucial for data manipulation and query implementation.
- Competent in Python programming, particularly libraries like Pandas and NumPy for data handling.
- Experienced in developing dashboards and management information system (MIS) reports.
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel expertise, including pivot tables and lookup formulas.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Capable of managing extensive datasets and extracting meaningful insights.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Preference given to candidates with credentials from Tier 1 educational institutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or allied disciplines.
Additional Information
- Work schedule includes six working days per week with rotational offs.
