Data Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join a team working with a Haystack partner. The role involves transforming intricate datasets into actionable insights to address complex challenges and supporting clients with data-driven advice to influence decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze complex data sets to provide valuable insights.
• Support clients by delivering comprehensive understanding and implications of their data.
• Assist with acquisition and programmatic expertise, encompassing financial requirements evaluation and planning of tasks.
• Create and maintain funding trackers, examine execution and spending, and review spending plans from performers.
• Monitor contract obligations, funding profiles, and requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Contribute to the effective analysis and follow-up of action items and aid in meeting facilitation.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years experience supporting clients specifically in defense acquisition and finance.
• At least 2 years of hands-on proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Minimum 2 years experience utilizing SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• At least 1 year of experience in data engineering using platforms like Databricks or Spark.
• Strong background in acquisition, program management, and financial analysis.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree and active Secret security clearance.
