• Maintain the Dairy/Frozen department in a clean, orderly state with appropriate zoning to guarantee readiness for customers at all times.
• Perform routine stock rotation and vigilance for expired items to uphold freshness and quality standards.
• Ensure all merchandise is correctly priced, signed, and labeled, following established guidelines concerning ordering, markdowns, and pricing procedures.
• Comply strictly with cold chain protocols, food safety rules, including temperature monitoring, calibration of thermometers, proper handling, and sanitation.
• Support merchandising efforts by maintaining promotional displays and department features according to company standards.
• Keep the workstation safe, clean, and free from hazards by eliminating debris, spills, and unnecessary materials, adhering to company and safety policies.
• Exhibit flexibility by working various shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands and ensure seamless store operation.

Challenges

• Effectively manage high volumes of tasks within a fast-paced environment, planning and maintaining energy especially during overnight shifts.
• Handle substantial restocking and recovery duties accurately and timely.
• Engage in physically demanding tasks including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting objects weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive actions with precision and consistency to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $16.15 per hour.
