About the Role

STAFFXPERT LLC seeks a Cybersecurity Training Specialist for a client in Washington, DC, offering a hybrid work setup with three days onsite and two days remote weekly. This position suits professionals skilled in developing cybersecurity educational programs and awareness campaigns to improve organizational security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, design, and present interactive cybersecurity and IT training for staff.
  • Interpret the NICE Workforce Framework (NIST SP 800-181) to define cybersecurity roles and the related knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Prepare and update cybersecurity training policies, curricula, procedures, and teaching materials.
  • Develop Computer-Based Training (CBT) courses utilizing both external and in-house resources.
  • Collaborate with Learning Management System (LMS) administrators to deploy and manage training content and assignments.
  • Produce and distribute newsletters and other communications to raise cybersecurity awareness.
  • Monitor training completion rates, certification achievements, and compliance statistics.
  • Assess training program effectiveness and suggest enhancements incorporating feedback, analytics, and evolving security needs.
  • Assist in enterprise-wide cybersecurity awareness and workforce growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related discipline.
