About the Role
As a Customer Operations Manager based in Munich at the LEGO® Sales Office in Grasbrunn, you will shape seamless customer experiences across the DACH region. This hybrid role involves working three days onsite and up to two days remotely. Relocation assistance is not provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and own end-to-end projects from conception to delivery, collaborating with international teams.
- Act as deputy to the Head of Customer Operations, preparing materials and contributing to key business discussions.
- Oversee a working student team, managing recruitment, onboarding, and daily coordination to ensure consistent performance.
- Manage order processing for important DACH accounts, working closely with key account managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Balance order intake with inbound logistics and transportation capacity, monitor budgets and performance, and optimize stock levels at customer sites.
- Ensure efficient delivery operations by coordinating transport planning and aligning with European warehouses, carriers, and customer warehouses, focusing on cost efficiency and handling returns and complaints.
- Maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders, participate in customer meetings, and implement improvements based on customer survey insights.
About the Team
The Customer Operations team oversees the entire Order-to-Cash process across DACH, working with a wide range of retailers to ensure dependable, customer-focused delivery. Together, the team enhances product flow, inventory management, and customer experience, strengthening partnerships and performance.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in supply chain customer operations within an international consumer goods setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, familiar with cross-functional processes in global organizations.
- Ability to make decisions, manage expectations, and meet targets through effective order and inventory management and claims resolution.
- Team player who actively contributes to development and collaboration efforts.
- Experience collaborating across departments, simplifying complex issues, and building trusted relationships.
- Proficiency in SAP, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with Microsoft tools including Power BI.
- Understanding of order-to-cash processes in global companies with multiple partners.
- Preferably some experience mentoring early-career or working student teams.
