Job Summary
This role involves performing manual tasks focused on maintaining cleanliness and care of school buildings and surrounding grounds. The custodian will carry out a variety of duties including dusting, vacuuming, washing, mopping, and other related responsibilities, following established procedures and routines.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, washing, and mopping within school facilities.
- Manage upkeep of school grounds as assigned.
- Make minor reports related to building maintenance or observed issues during daily tasks.
- Follow established cleaning procedures, adapting to specific instructions on uncommon tasks or issues.
- Work under the supervision of the custodial manager, ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards through regular inspections.
