Role overview

The Public Defence Service North Shore, based in Albany, is seeking an experienced and driven criminal litigator to join as a Lawyer PAL1. This is a varied and stimulating role for someone who wants to grow their career in criminal advocacy while working in a collaborative, supportive setting.

What you will do

• Provide strong-quality defence representation for legally aided clients.
• Handle a broad and changing range of criminal files.
• Support intermediate and senior lawyers in their work.

• PAL 1 approval level.
• Qualification to practise law in New Zealand.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $74,490 to $95,403, depending on skills and experience.
