Credit Field Officer

About the Role

This is a contractual position with InCred Finance based in Pune, involving critical field verification responsibilities supporting various loan products offered by the company. The tenure of the contract is one year with payroll handled directly by InCred.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out timely and surprise visits to applicants' homes and business locations to verify details provided in loan applications.
• Authenticate addresses by checking their existence, duration of stay, and nature, while documenting with geo-tagged photographs or videos.
• Engage in thorough personal discussions to evaluate the applicant’s intent, financial literacy, and data consistency.
• Conduct neighborhood inquiries to collect impartial information about the applicant’s reputation, character, and genuine business activities.
• Physically check and validate original documents such as utility bills, tax receipts, and business licenses to ensure authenticity.
• Report any inconsistencies or discrepancies found between application data and real-world observations.
• Cross-verify information gathered in the field with credit bureaus, company records, and publicly available data.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be located in or willing to work in Pune.
• Education requirement is completion of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or graduation.
• No prior experience necessary; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Owning a two-wheeler vehicle is mandatory to fulfill field visit requirements.
