Credit Control Officer

Job Summary

TotalEnergies is seeking a Credit Control Officer to manage credit issuance and ensure timely collections, supporting the company’s liquidity and working capital improvement in a highly competitive industry environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly Credit Control Meetings across all sales channels including General Trade and Network.
• Analyze block orders for review and management approval.
• Update customer accounts and prepare Total card analyses using the Harmonie Tool.
• Generate and distribute monthly customer account statements.
• Monitor and follow up on debtors transferred to the Legal Department, reporting to the Credit Control Manager.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to meet annual credit control objectives.
• Track collection commitments by Network and Consumer Territory Managers.
• Work with Treasury officers to ensure timely matching of customer accounts.
• Adhere strictly to company safety protocols, including reporting near misses and using safety STOP cards as necessary.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor's degree with at least Second Class Upper in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
• Has a minimum of three years experience in a similar credit control role.
