Creative Design Intern

Role overview

This internship sits at the intersection of design, technology, and storytelling. You’ll use Fuser to build generative visuals, experimental workflows, visual media, and content that helps show what AI-native creativity can become.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Creative Deployment, Head of Growth & Marketing, and the Product Team to turn experiments into practical outputs for the Fuser community. You’ll also be encouraged to test ideas directly in Fuser, creating assets, workflows, and visual directions that help shape the brand as it evolves.

What you’ll do

• Design visual content across multiple formats, including images, graphics, video, and social media assets.
• Build and test new visual concepts with Fuser, AI models, and generative tools.
• Develop tutorials and example showcases that explain how Fuser workflows work.
• Create prompts, templates, and reusable assets for the community.
• Produce creative material for ads, launches, social channels, and related campaigns.
• Share experiments in weekly reviews and keep clear documentation of your process.

Required competencies

• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: Blender, Houdini, Runway, TouchDesigner, p5.js, or HTML/CSS/JS.
• Working knowledge of Figma or Illustrator.
• Strong interest in generative art, AI, and creative coding.
• A strong visual sensibility and genuine interest in design.
• Curiosity about human-machine collaboration and design systems.
• Clear visual communication and storytelling ability.
• Self-driven, organized, and motivated to learn.

Preferred strengths

• Experience using APIs or AI models within creative projects.
• Comfort with sharing your process publicly through tutorials or posts.
• Interest in teaching others or documenting creative workflows.

Work style and setup

This is an in-person role based in Frogtown, Los Angeles, with at least two days in the office each week.

The environment is built on high trust and high standards, with early ownership and broad autonomy. It is a small team where each visual output has a direct impact on how people experience Fuser.

Compensation and internship terms

The stipend is $1,850 per month, which works out to roughly $21–24 per hour based on an expected schedule of 18–20 hours per week.

You’ll also receive $500 per month in Fuser generation credits.

The internship lasts 3 or 6 months and may lead to a full-time opportunity.
