Overview
Dooley’s Trucking is hiring a courier service delivery person for work based in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador. This is an on-site position, which means the job must be performed at the physical workplace and cannot be done remotely.

Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
- Operate cars, vans, and light trucks to collect and drop off goods and products.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when dealing with clients.
- Communicate information to central dispatch as needed.
- Track and record items that are received and delivered.
- Load and unload goods safely.
- Sort packages so they are ready for delivery.
- Read maps and follow directions to complete routes efficiently.
- Use maps and trip-planning tools to organize delivery travel.
- Log trip details such as mileage, fuel usage, and any issues encountered.
- Complete routine administrative duties.
- Provide helpful customer service.
- Carry out pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle checks and monitor the condition of the vehicle during operations.
Credentials
A valid Class 5/5F/G driver’s licence is required for cars, small trucks, and other two-axle vehicles.
Experience and Specialization
Local transportation/travel experience is expected.
