About the Organization
The Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz (SPK) is a leading cultural and scientific institution with internationally renowned museums, libraries, archives, and research centers. Job Responsibilities
- Manage independently all aspects of incoming and outgoing mail, including letters, parcels, registered mail, and handling small goods deliveries.
- Sort and distribute internal mail within the organization.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with external service providers.
- Perform courier and driving services as required.
- Review and forward incoming emails appropriately.
Candidate Profile
- Prior professional experience in a mailroom or similar service sector.
- Proficient with common MS Office software, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent command of German language, both written and spoken, corresponding to at least C2 level on the EU framework.
- Valid driving license class B.
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to familiarize with specialized PC applications.
- High reliability and meticulous, organized approach to work.
- Strong communication skills and courteous demeanor.
- Good organizational talent and sense of responsibility.
Employment Details and Benefits
- Permanent contract with weekly working hours of 39 (part-time options available).
- Salary according to pay grade EG 3 TVöD Bund.
- Location: Stauffenbergstr. 41, 10785 Berlin.
- Annual special payment and 30 days of vacation annually based on a five-day workweek.
- Job ticket for public transport (Deutschlandticket) with employer contribution.
- Company pension scheme through the Versorgunganstalt des Bundes und der Länder (VBL).
