Position Summary
Operate company vehicles to provide efficient and polite delivery and pickup services. Ensure shipments comply with FedEx service standards while delivering outstanding customer support. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Education and Licensing
Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED. Must hold a valid driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle type.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds independently.
- Skilled in handling packages over 50 pounds using proper equipment or with assistance.
- Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Professional appearance due to regular customer interaction.
- Meet standards specified in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Undergo and pass a medical examination as per FMCSA or FAA guidelines for non-covered safety-sensitive roles.
- Maintain vigilance and safety awareness at all times.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Proficient reading and speaking of English sufficiently to comprehend traffic signs, communicate with traffic authorities, and respond to official instructions according to FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants must be at least 21 years old with a continuous state-issued driver’s license held for at least three years without gaps, suspensions, or interruptions.
Work Schedule
Position operates Monday through Saturday with one day off weekly, which will be determined by the employer.
