Role overview
This role is centered on administering and supporting the Coupa procurement platform, with particular emphasis on the Contracting and Sourcing modules. The selected professional will be accountable for stable day-to-day operations, platform upkeep, issue resolution, and compliance-driven support across the system.
Core responsibilities
The consultant will handle maintenance, monitoring, and operational support for the Coupa Procurement System. They will manage incidents, changes, and problem cases connected to Contracting and Sourcing, while also supporting sourcing activities during year-end and throughout the year. The role includes coordinating service requests and ticket closure in line with ITIL practices and using ServiceNow or comparable ITSM tools for documentation and tracking.
Regular interaction with Lines of Business will be required to review recurring issues, follow up on incident patterns, and improve service quality. The person in this role will also be involved in monthly and quarterly control execution, SOX audit support, evidence collection, and overall audit preparedness.
Another key part of the job is ensuring that Coupa–DocuSign integrations continue to function correctly in a GxP-regulated environment. The consultant must work closely with QA teams to maintain required documentation, support audits and inspections, and complete mandatory GxP trainings along with periodic SOP acknowledgements.
In addition, the role calls for close collaboration with business users, QA, IT, and external vendors to maintain system reliability and continuously improve procurement processes. The consultant will also guide users on Contracting and Sourcing workflows and provide functional support whenever needed.

Experience in regulated GxP environments is strongly preferred, and exposure to pharmaceutical or life sciences settings is an added advantage.
Skills and competencies
The ideal candidate should bring strong practical knowledge of Coupa administration, especially within Contracting and Sourcing, along with a clear understanding of procurement process flows. Familiarity with ITIL processes such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management is important, as is experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform.
