Role overview

Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Gold Coast is looking for a Costing Clerk to support its Carrara dealership operations. This role sits within the Volvo Group Australia network and contributes to the service and administration functions that help keep workshop activity running smoothly.

Key duties

  • Respond to customer service enquiries and related questions.
  • Process customer invoicing, purchase orders, and warranty claim preparation.
  • Check that receipting and system entries for all workshop invoices are accurate and kept current.
  • Provide occasional front counter assistance, including answering calls, scheduling bookings, and generating job cards.
  • Maintain warranty parts inventory for claim purposes.
  • Prepare and oversee vehicle service schedules for contract vehicles.
  • Coordinate with workshop supervisors to help ensure job quality, turnaround times, and warranty requirements are met.
  • Deliver general administrative support to the Administration Supervisor.

Team and working arrangements

You will be part of a close-knit dealership team in Carrara, working alongside the maintenance workshop and supporting customers. The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, roughly 7:00am to 3:00pm, with flexibility around start and finish times. Minimal overtime may be needed, especially at month-end. Any overtime is paid at time and a half for the first three hours and double time after that.
