About the Role
Serving as a Business Development Representative, you will focus on pinpointing and engaging companies that align well with HubSpot’s offerings through targeted and strategic prospecting activities. Your daily tasks will include leveraging existing leads managed in HubSpot and generating fresh interest by engaging prospects via telephone calls, emails, and social media outreach.
Upon connecting with potential clients, you will explore their business challenges to assess if HubSpot can offer an effective solution. Your objective will be to clearly articulate the benefits of HubSpot and inspire interest to move prospects towards deeper discussions with Account Executives.
This position requires close collaboration with 2-3 Account Executives daily, and teamwork with fellow Business Development Representatives to craft innovative strategies aimed at discovering new business opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume prospecting to identify qualified leads, including both new users and prospective customers.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to formulate and execute strategic prospecting plans.
- Arrange online demonstrations of HubSpot products for qualified prospects, ensuring monthly targets are met.
- Utilize sales methodologies such as BANT to understand customer needs and challenges.
- Conduct market research focused on expanding HubSpot’s customer base.
Key Requirements
- A strong desire and commitment to build a career in Technology Sales.
- Previous sales or prospecting experience in high-growth environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Focus and persistence in meeting goals with a determined approach.
- Capability to manage objections effectively and openness to coaching.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Passion for supporting business growth and eagerness to explore the technology sector.
