About the Role

As a Support Service Worker in our aged care facility, your role centers on managing all hospitality-related duties such as meal preparation, cooking, and catering, ensuring an enriching and comforting environment for our residents. You will foster strong connections with residents, their families, and care staff, contributing to the enhancement of residents' choices and quality of life, reflecting our core values.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present dietary meals and beverages.
• Assist the chef with food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and general kitchen tasks.
• Deliver meals to residents ensuring timely and proper dining services.
• Complete necessary documentation and maintain accurate reporting of activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of an NDIS Worker Clearance or willingness to obtain one (mandatory).
• Valid legal right to work in Australia (mandatory).
• Experience in hospitality or customer service within fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Familiarity with resident rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards is preferred but not required.
