Role Overview
Our partner company seeks a detail-focused Contracts, Compliance, and HR Administrator to operate remotely within the United States. This role offers the chance to support contract management, financial compliance, and HR functions within a fast-growing organization in the government contracting sector. You will ensure operational efficiency, maintain audit readiness, and uphold adherence to federal contracting regulations, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee contract and subcontract administration including managing files, change modifications, deliverables, invoicing, and project closure documentation.
- Assist with financial processes such as accounts payable and receivable, job cost monitoring, and maintain audit-ready documentation in line with DCAA standards.
- Maintain compliance documentation, checklists, procedures, and records in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and relevant government contracting guidelines.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding tasks, including data collection, background investigations, employment verification, and I-9 form processing.
- Manage employee records, benefits details, attendance/timelog data, and HR compliance documents within HRIS platforms.
- Contribute to proposal pricing efforts, analyze subcontract costs, and prepare related financial documentation.
- Work closely with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate administrative communications and operations.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality while supporting initiatives for process enhancement and operational efficiencies.
Candidate Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a comparable field preferred; substantial equivalent experience acceptable. Higher degrees or professional certifications are valued.
- Between 3 and 5 years of progressive work experience supporting government contracts, accounting, subcontract administration, finance, HR, or compliance roles.
- Proven familiarity with government contracting environments and regulations including DCAA, FAR, and DFARS compliance.
- Experience in subcontract administration, proposal pricing, cost analysis, invoice validation, and contract compliance.
- Knowledgeable in HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, benefits management, employee record keeping, and compliance tracking.
- Proficient with QuickBooks Online, Rippling, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace tools.
- Strong organizational capabilities, keen attention to detail, and aptitude to manage multiple tasks in remote, deadline-focused settings.
- Superior communication skills, professionalism, and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across teams.
- Must be capable of passing a background check and obtaining/maintaining a Department of War Secret Clearance.
