Description de l'emploi
About the Role
Melbourne Social Co is seeking a Content Producer to join their creative team based in San Francisco Bay Area, available approximately 2-4 days monthly. This position involves active participation in shoots, content creation, and production management, collaborating closely with Production and Social teams to bring creative concepts to life both on set and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes hands-on production during photo and video shoots, capturing social-focused content through iPhone and camera devices, managing on-set communication and coordination with talent, and identifying timely content opportunities for immediate action.
In post-production, responsibilities comprise preparing content for social team delivery, organizing digital files and libraries, and ensuring content meets deadlines and quality briefs.
Additionally, supporting shoot logistics such as planning schedules, managing locations, props, equipment, and timings is essential. Problem-solving calmly during on-the-day changes to maintain smooth shoot operations is also expected.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is passionate about content production and social media, especially familiar with platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and the creator ecosystem. Basic proficiency with content capturing on iPhone and fundamental editing skills (preferably using CapCut) are required. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, strong communication with clients on set, flexibility to travel, and a calm, solution-oriented demeanor under pressure are important traits.
Proactivity, attention to detail, confidence in seeking information, and ownership over tasks align well with the team culture, which values accountability, high standards without ego, momentum, clear communication, and kindness under pressure. The Creative Director will provide mentorship, fostering growth while expecting initiative and pride in work.
Application Details
Applicants should submit a resume, samples or links showcasing relevant work such as case studies, campaigns or portfolios, their availability for shoot days, and proposed half-day and full-day rates via email (contact details excluded to adhere to policy). This role is suited for individuals seeking a long-term career in production and creative content execution.
