This opportunity is for a Consultant Oculoplastic Surgeon position based in Doha, Qatar, at a prominent private and semi-government hospital known for its advanced surgical infrastructure and international clinical standards.

Key Requirements

• Applicants must be either currently residing in Doha or prepared to relocate without delay.
• A valid Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) license from the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) is compulsory.
• The candidate should hold consultant-level certification such as FRCOphth, American Board, or an equivalent Tier 1 qualification.
• Completion of fellowship or specialized training in oculoplastics, orbital surgery, or lacrimal system is essential.
• A minimum of five years of post-specialist professional experience is required.
• Candidates trained in Western medical institutions are preferred.

Role Scope

• Manage cases related to oculoplastic, orbital, and lacrimal conditions.
• Undertake complex surgical operations, both functional and cosmetic.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary ophthalmology team.
• Ensure adherence to the standards and revalidation protocols of Qatar's Ministry of Public Health.
