Construction Manager - Aramco Projects - Oil & Gas

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a proven track record in Saudi Aramco EPC projects to supervise and manage critical construction activities at a site based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role demands a strong leadership presence with thorough understanding of multidisciplinary construction domains including Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical works, ensuring all processes comply with Aramco standards and international codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all onsite construction operations ensuring alignment with Aramco standards (SAES, SAIC, SAMSS) as well as international codes such as API, ASME, NFPA, IEC, and IEEE.
• Design and execute construction plans including scheduling and resource deployment to optimize progress and efficiency.
• Track project advancement, quickly address any site-related issues, and make sure projects meet established timelines while identifying and managing scope of work variations effectively.
• Lead collaborations with subcontractors, suppliers, and site engineers to uphold project requirements and supervise closeout procedures carefully.
• Conduct daily meetings with construction personnel to assess real-time progress against baseline schedules, pinpoint risks, and propose mitigation strategies to the Project Manager to address any deviations.
• Perform thorough reviews of Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings, technical documents, and deliverables to verify compliance and detect any discrepancies between design development and actual site conditions.
• Enforce rigorous quality assurance practices and conduct all required inspections including pre-commissioning readiness and stakeholder walkthroughs.
• Address and resolve any Inspection Non-Conformance Reports (INCR) or Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) promptly to maintain project quality, health, safety, and environmental (PQIHSE) standards.
• Implement safety management protocols strictly under Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, maintaining site cleanliness and minimizing operational risks.
• Serve as the primary liaison among onsite construction teams, project management, and Aramco representatives, ensuring transparent and timely communication.
• Generate and present comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to Project Management.
• Support commissioning and formal handover processes by coordinating closely with the commissioning team.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in Saudi Aramco EPC projects at the Construction Manager level or above with at least 3 to 4 approvals from Saudi Aramco in similar roles is mandatory.
