Construction Flagman/Woman

Job Overview

This position requires on-site work at various construction-related locations such as industrial plants, rural areas, waterways, and construction sites. The candidate will operate primarily outdoors, sometimes in hot environments, and will often be stationed in remote areas with staff accommodation provided, including room and board.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance duties to support construction operations.
• Operate or assist machines and equipment involved in construction processes.
• Manage traffic flow safely around construction sites to ensure operational safety.

Experience and Specialization

• Prior experience in construction, specifically in industrial, commercial, institutional, underground, and tunnel projects.

Requirements and Conditions

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate mandatory.
• Minimum 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Security prerequisites including a criminal record check and driving record verification.
• Must have valid driver's license capable of manual transmission operation.
• Ownership of personal transportation and willingness to travel frequently including overnight trips; travel expenses covered by employer.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, pressure-intensive environment; must comply with demanding physical labor and tolerate tight deadlines.
• Physical capability to manage repetitive tasks, heavy lifting (over 45kg/100lbs), and activities requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, sound discrimination, and hand-eye coordination.
• Possession of steel-toed safety boots required for daily tasks.
