Role overview
SEHA - Abu Dhabi Health Services Co. is seeking a Community & Public Relation Officer in Abu Dhabi to support community outreach, public engagement, CSR delivery, and event coordination within the healthcare environment.
Event planning and coordination
- Design, organize, and oversee community events, public awareness drives, and engagement activities.
- Handle event logistics, vendor coordination, and collaboration across internal teams to deliver smooth execution.
- Keep an eye on budgets and schedules so events stay aligned with organizational expectations.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- Create and roll out CSR initiatives that reflect SEHA’s mission and values.
- Work with internal departments and outside partners to execute meaningful CSR programs.
- Maintain records and share updates on CSR activity results for both internal and external audiences.
Public relations and community outreach
- Foster and maintain productive relationships with community groups, NGOs, and government bodies.
- Assist with media visibility for events and CSR activities in partnership with the Communications team.
- Draft press materials, speaking notes, and promotional copy for community-focused initiatives.
Monitoring and reporting
- Assess event and CSR effectiveness using feedback and performance indicators.
- Prepare periodic reports on community engagement and CSR work for management review.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s qualification in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in event coordination, CSR, or community relations is needed.
- Strong planning, organization, and project management capability is important.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills, is expected.
- The role calls for someone who can perform well under pressure and manage several priorities at the same time.
- Prior exposure to the healthcare sector is required.
