About the Role
At Apex Harmony Lodge, we believe every impactful story is worth sharing. This position involves shaping the organization's brand and crafting engaging content while cultivating meaningful partnerships. It combines content creation, volunteer engagement, and campaign management within a vibrant, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop annual reports, quarterly newsletters, reels, presentations, and other communication collateral.
- Communicate the Lodge’s impact on individuals affected by dementia through creative storytelling and visual media.
- Expand and nurture a dedicated volunteer base trained to engage safely with persons living with dementia.
- Deepen relationships with partners, donors, volunteers, and the broader community.
- Identify and pursue new partnership, sponsorship, and community engagement opportunities.
- Lead corporate visits, resident programs, and fundraising campaigns.
- Create captivating content for digital, print, and social media platforms.
- Maintain detailed records of partnerships and volunteer engagement activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure smooth program implementation.
- Advocate for safe, strength-based, and person-centered dementia care.
- Enhance the Lodge's brand presence across various channels.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic and optimistic with a strong commitment to advancing dementia care.
- Design-oriented with a passion for creating engaging content suitable for multiple social media platforms.
- Adept at building relationships and uniting people around meaningful causes.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on excellent care.
- Holds a degree in communications, marketing, mass communication, business, or a related field.
- Strong passion for inspirational storytelling balanced with meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and factual integrity.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in communications, partnerships, events, volunteer coordination, and community engagement.
