Co-Founder & CEO - AI E-commerce Operations System

The opportunity

FutureSight is looking for a Co-Founder & CEO to build and lead Omnex, an AI-first operating system designed for sellers who manage ecommerce businesses across multiple channels. This is a founder partnership with meaningful equity at the core, not a conventional paid executive position.

Many ecommerce operators juggle disconnected tools and manual coordination while managing sales across Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, and similar platforms. That creates constant switching between systems, conflicting data, and daily decision-making across pricing, stock, advertising, fulfillment, and support.

The market behind this problem is large, with global ecommerce GMV now above $1 trillion each year and millions of sellers operating across several channels without a unified intelligence layer to run the business.

Market context

Omnex is being designed to replace fragmented workflows with an autonomous, multi-agent AI workforce. Rather than adding another dashboard, it is intended to understand the business continuously, reason across channels, and act proactively on operational decisions such as pricing optimization, inventory planning, ad management, demand forecasting, and customer support coordination. All agents share business context, learn from results, and collaborate to improve overall performance.

FutureSight is a venture studio that builds software companies together with mission-driven founders from the earliest stage through exit. The team includes founders, operators, and designers who have experience taking software products to market at scale.

You will co-create with a seasoned studio team led by John Carbrey, Krista LaRiviere, Alan Smith, Prathna Ramesh, and Johnny Tong, bringing together experience across entrepreneurship, exits, investing, and AI product development.

What you will own

• Set the venture strategy, including ICP definition, pricing, and product positioning
• Run customer development by leading pilots with ecommerce sellers, converting them into paid customers, and building the go-to-market motion
• Work with the product and engineering teams to launch Version 1 and improve it based on user feedback
• Drive the seed fundraising process with help from FutureSight’s network and early traction
• Hire and lead the founding team while shaping the company culture from the start

Founder profile

• Experience founding a venture-backed company before
• Strong B2B SaaS go-to-market background, especially in sales and customer engagement
• Comfort and skill in fundraising, including building investor stories and closing capital
• Ability to attract, grow, and keep strong talent
• Realistic understanding of the pressure and risk involved in co-founding a venture-backed business
• Hands-on ecommerce experience, whether through running a multi-channel business, selling software into ecommerce, or building tools for sellers at scale
• A useful network among ecommerce sellers, including Amazon sellers, Shopify operators, and 3PL partners
