Position Overview

Join St. Regis Hotels & Resorts as a Cluster Purchasing Clerk based on Ummahat Island 1, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, non-management role is central to maintaining smooth procurement operations by managing food inventories, processing orders, and ensuring accuracy in purchasing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and manage figures related to food inventories, purchase orders, and cost tracking.
  • Maintain precise and orderly records, ensuring reports and invoices are filed correctly.
  • Enter invoice data using computer systems and perform inventory audits to assess current stock levels and needs.
  • Complete requisition forms for inventory and supply orders, proactively informing supervisors when stock runs low.
  • Verify incoming shipments, reconcile shipping invoices with received goods, and accurately document inventory reports.
  • Receive and process deliveries, rejecting damaged or incorrect items, and managing vendor return procedures.
  • Enforce adherence to food safety and handling protocols throughout all food-related operations.
  • Monitor PAR (Periodic Automatic Replenishment) levels to maintain appropriate stock for food items.
  • Promptly report workplace accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Comply with all company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and uphold confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, manage telephone etiquette, and prepare accurate documentation.
  • Foster positive working relationships, support team objectives, and respond thoughtfully to coworker concerns.
  • Meet quality assurance standards and visually inspect various materials and equipment to identify issues.
  • Utilize computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve job-related data.
  • Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking throughout the shift and moving items up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Navigate confined or uneven spaces and perform motions such as bending, twisting, and reaching as required.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
  • Minimum of one year experience in a relevant field.
  • No supervisory experience necessary.
  • No specific licenses or certifications required.
