Role overview
Integrated Surgery Outpatients is seeking a welcoming, organised, and dependable receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients using the service. This role is varied and fast-paced, requiring a calm, compassionate approach and the ability to keep outpatient clinic activity running smoothly.
What the role involves
You will interact with patients every day, both in person and by phone, while helping administrative and clinical colleagues with day-to-day clinic preparation. Typical tasks include preparing patient notes, entering data accurately, and arranging appointments.
Working pattern
The post runs Monday to Friday, with working hours between 07:30 and 18:00.
Experience
Previous work in a reception or customer-facing environment would be an advantage, although it is not a strict requirement.
Right to work in the UK
This position cannot be sponsored under the Skilled Worker route (formerly Tier 2) or the Health and Care Worker visa. Only applicants who already have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship can be considered.
