Client Manager - Solar PV and Renewable Energy Projects

Overview

Chronos Consulting, part of the Coberon Chronos Group—a globally recognized leader in workforce solutions and business process automation with 52 international offices—is seeking a Client Manager. This role is focused on advancing solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage initiatives across multiple sites in Africa including Zimbabwe, Morocco, and Kenya, as well as Thailand.

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive the development and execution of solar PV and energy storage projects within Africa.
• Perform site evaluations, assess investment viability, study applicable renewable energy policies, verify essential project documents, and determine project feasibility.
• Establish and nurture relationships with project owners, partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead and contribute to commercial negotiation processes.
• Collaborate with both internal teams and external entities for smooth project delivery.
• Prepare key legal and contractual documents including agreements, memoranda of understanding, and contracts.
• Facilitate the organization of contract signings and detailed implementation planning sessions.
• Oversee commercial affairs throughout the development and construction phases of projects.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree.
• At least three years’ experience in solar PV or renewable energy project development.
• Preferably experienced in commercial and industrial solar power projects.
• Capable of independently conducting investment analyses, business negotiations, and feasibility report preparation.
• Familiarity with the power and renewable energy sectors, including government regulations and liaison activities.
• Basic proficiency in English for communication.
• Excellent skills in communication, coordination, and report writing.
• Willingness to undertake international travel as needed.
