Overview
This role involves overseeing client accounts and public relations activities within a dynamic environment. The Client Executive will manage day-to-day client needs, coordinate with third-party vendors, support event planning and execution, and contribute to strategic communication efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Handle routine account management tasks including work-in-progress meetings, aligned with the agreed schedule and project scope.
- Prepare and deliver client meeting contact summaries promptly.
- Compile detailed monthly activity reports illustrating all client-related efforts.
- Ensure that all client deliverables, including materials and reports, are accurate, free of errors, submitted on time, and approved by the account lead.
- Coordinate and manage collaborations with external professionals such as designers, photographers, event planners, and vendors.
- Participate in event research, logistical planning, and oversee event executions.
- Act as the primary account lead, maintaining client communication and correspondence.
- Assist with budget-related research and cost analysis, and address any client or budget-related issues that arise.
- Manage media monitoring activities and aggregate media mentions.
- Conduct media pitching and foster relationships with media representatives and influencers.
- Support research on client industries including competitor and trend analysis.
- Provide assistance in client media training and develop an understanding of the media landscape.
- Contribute to content creation such as press releases, FAQs, briefing materials, presentation decks, social and digital content, speeches, message houses, and editorial calendars.
- Customize content for diverse audiences and platforms, creating compelling hooks and narratives to engage media and target demographics.
Required Skills and Experience
- University degree complemented by an internship or at least 12 months' experience in communications or marketing.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Familiarity with both traditional and social media channels to effectively reach target audiences.
- Additional valuable skills include proficiency in Photoshop, photography and videography, as well as knowledge of Google Analytics and social media insights on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
