Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-focused Cleaner to service residential rental properties. Responsibilities include providing cleaning for move-in and move-out scenarios, turnover cleaning, and preparing homes for listings to ensure they meet company standards and are listing-ready.
About Our Client
The client operates as a comprehensive leasing partner utilizing proprietary technology aimed at accelerating landlord leasing processes, minimizing vacancies, and thoroughly screening applicants. They distribute rental listings via MLS and over 20 additional platforms, managing every step from advertisement to tenant move-in.
Key Duties
- Perform cleaning appointments at residential rentals including move-in, move-out, turnover, and listing preparation.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, floors, appliances, cabinets, and fixtures in accordance with company protocols.
- Remove dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any remaining items.
- Wipe and sanitize surfaces, counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean floors efficiently.
- Clean interior parts of appliances such as fridges, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when necessary.
- Detect and report any additional cleaning needs, junk removal, repairs, or maintenance issues requiring follow-up before listing or tenant move-in.
- Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos to document the completed work.
- Submit comprehensive updates, including photos, videos, and written notes after each task.
- Maintain professional communication with landlords, tenants, applicants, and team members.
- Adhere strictly to company instructions, cleaning checklists, and appointment details.
Additional Cleaning Activities May Include
- Deep cleaning assignments
- Garbage removal and minor debris cleanup
- Cabinet and drawer cleaning
- Window sill and baseboard cleaning
- Preparation cleaning for photos, showings, and inspections
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning roles such as cleaner, housekeeper, or residential cleaning contractor.
- Strong familiarity with residential cleaning standards and practices.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each appointment.
- Comfort and capability to work independently at multiple rental properties.
- Ownership of an iPhone 13 or equivalent smartphone equipped with a high-resolution camera.
- Skills to take high-quality photos and videos for documentation purposes.
- Ability to write clear, detailed notes and provide timely updates post-cleaning visits.
- Self-motivated with minimal need for supervision.
- Detail-oriented, punctual, professional, and reliable work ethic.
- Ability to strictly follow checklists, instructions, and property access protocols.
- Respectful and clear communication with landlords, tenants, applicants, and internal teams.
Preferred Experience
- Previous work in move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning.
- Experience preparing rental properties for photos, showings, inspections, or tenant move-in.
- Ability to identify property damage, maintenance issues, junk disposal needs, pest matters, or unsafe conditions.
- Experience working autonomously in field roles related to property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services.
