Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to perform cleaning duties at residential rental properties. Responsibilities encompass move-in and move-out cleans, rental turnover preparation, and ensuring properties are ready for photos, inspections, and showings. Our client specializes in managing residential rental properties with tasks including leasing support, maintenance coordination, inspections, and overall property management.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled cleaning appointments at residential rental properties, focusing on move-in/move-out and turnover cleaning.
- Execute general residential cleaning in line with company standards, including kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, appliances, floors, and fixtures.
- Remove dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and leftover items meticulously.
- Thoroughly clean surfaces such as counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and clean inside appliances like refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers where necessary.
- Identify and report any additional cleaning needs, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or follow-up tasks.
- Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos documenting the property's condition and cleaning.
- Communicate updates, notes, photos, and videos after each cleaning visit clearly.
- Interact professionally with property owners, tenants, prospective tenants, and team members.
- Follow cleaning checklists, company instructions, access details, and appointment schedules diligently.
Additional Cleaning Duties May Include
- Deep cleaning tasks and detailed kitchen and bathroom cleaning.
- Cabinet and drawer cleaning as well as window sill and baseboard care.
- Garbage removal and light debris clearing.
- Ensuring property readiness for all stages of property management processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in residential cleaning or similar roles.
- In-depth understanding of residential cleaning standards and best practices.
- Reliable personal transportation to commute between properties.
- Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each appointment.
- Comfortable independently attending residential rental properties.
- Own a smartphone with a high-quality camera (iPhone 13 or equivalent) for documenting work.
- Able to take clear photos and videos and submit detailed updates after visits.
- Strong independence, professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with property owners, tenants, and internal teams.
- Able to adhere carefully to checklists, instructions, and property access protocols.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning processes.
- Background in cleaning residential rental properties ahead of photos, showings, inspections, or move-in.
- Experience identifying damages, maintenance issues, junk removal, pest problems, or unsafe conditions.
- Previous work in a field role with property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services companies.
