Noosa District State High School is looking for a cleaner to become part of its committed facilities team. The position supports the smooth running of the school by delivering dependable, high-quality cleaning services and helping maintain a safe, tidy and inviting environment for students, staff and visitors. Work must be completed to a strong standard and in line with the approved school cleaning schedule and guidance from the supervisor.

Key duties
- Carry out cleaning of windows, pictures, door handles, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, wash basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
- Sanitise toilets and sick bay areas, keeping them hygienic and presentable.
- Clean and care for cleaning equipment and related tools.
- Manage cobwebs and mildew using extendable equipment where required.
- Clean hard outdoor surfaces such as concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved areas.
- Collect and dispose of rubbish, control litter, and remove debris from drains and gutters around buildings.
- Dust student and office furniture, equipment and fans.
Application requirements
Applicants should provide a short resume with contact details for two referees who can speak to relevant work history. A one-page written statement is also required, explaining how your achievements and capabilities align with the role.
