About the Role

Join Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services as a Cleaner dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at Network Rail, Grand Central Station in Birmingham. You will play a vital role in creating a pleasant environment for various community settings, ranging from offices to hospitals and airports, ensuring every space is welcoming and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of cleaning equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to cleaning schedules and service level agreements (SLAs) to deliver consistent results.
• Develop familiarity with the specific cleaning zones and the appropriate use of cleaning tools and chemicals.
• Comply with all Health and Safety protocols and complete mandatory training.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and also perform tasks independently, all while providing excellent customer service.

Candidate Profile

• Must have basic reading and communication skills in English.
• Previous experience in cleaning is preferred but not a necessity.
• Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in your approach to work.
• Exhibit honesty, self-motivation, and a determined mindset.
• Reliable, diligent, and maintain a professional attitude at all times.

Working Details

This position is permanent and full-time, requiring 37.5 hours per week with a shift pattern of four days on and two days off. The hourly wage is set at £12.71.
