Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-focused Cleaner to tend to residential rental properties. This position involves performing cleaning services including move-in/move-out cleans, rental turnover, deep cleaning, and preparing properties to be listing-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit residential rental properties for various cleaning appointments including move-in, move-out, turnover, and listing preparations.
• Conduct comprehensive residential cleaning that adheres to company standards.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures thoroughly.
• Remove all dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any leftover items as necessary.
• Wipe down counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched surfaces.
• Perform floor maintenance by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
• Clean interior sections of appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers where required.
• Identify and report areas requiring extra cleaning, junk removal, repairs, or maintenance before listings, showings, or move-ins.
• Capture clear before-and-after photographs and videos of the property and completed cleaning work.
• Provide detailed updates, notes, photos, and videos after each cleaning visit.
• Communicate professionally with landlords, applicants, tenants as applicable, and internal staff.
• Adhere strictly to company guidelines, checklists, access instructions, and appointment specifics.

Additional Duties

• General tasks may include deep cleaning, specific kitchen and bathroom cleaning, appliance cleaning, dusting and surface cleaning, cabinet and drawer cleaning, window sill and baseboard cleaning, garbage disposal, and preparing properties for listing photos, showings, inspections, or move-ins.

Prerequisites

• Prior experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping, or a similar capacity.
• Strong familiarity with industry cleaning standards.
• Reliability in transportation to attend appointments across properties.
• Access to necessary cleaning tools and supplies for each job.
• Ability to work independently at residential locations.
• Possession of a smartphone (iPhone 13 or equivalent) with high-quality camera capabilities.
• Comfortable documenting work through clear photos and videos.
• Capability to write thorough notes and provide updates post-cleaning.
• Professionalism, punctuality, reliability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow checklists, instructions, and property access requirements carefully.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning.
• Familiarity with cleaning rental properties prior to photos, showings, inspections, or move-in.
• Ability to identify property damage, maintenance needs, junk accumulation, pest issues, access problems, or unsafe conditions.
• Experience working independently in the field for property management, leasing, cleaning, or home service providers.

This position focuses primarily on cleaning and preparing properties for listing. Cleaners are expected to report any notable damage, maintenance requirements, junk removal needs, pest concerns, access difficulties, or safety hazards so that appropriate team members may address these issues.
