Overview
NFP, an Aon company with over 1,000 employees in the UK and Ireland and more than 8,000 worldwide, specializes in insurance, health and safety, employee benefits, and HR and talent management. We are currently seeking a Claims Handler to join our expanding commercial insurance team in Dublin, assisting clients across the UK and Ireland by managing their claims from start to finish.
Role Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from clients, insurers, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee clients' claims, including providing advice on policy coverage and indemnity matters.
- Ensure the First Notification of Loss process is handled swiftly to minimize losses and prevent leakage.
- Continuously monitor outstanding claims and provide accurate updates to clients and Account Executives.
- Coordinate with Insurers, Loss Adjusters, and other involved parties.
- Provide technical and administrative assistance to Broker Account Executive Teams to facilitate strong client relationships and effective policy inception and renewals.
- Manage claims on behalf of carriers under delegated authority agreements where applicable.
- Support the leadership team with best practice implementations, process evaluations, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties relevant to the role as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of two years' experience handling commercial general insurance claims.
- Minimum APA professional insurance qualification.
- Hands-on experience dealing with Property, Casualty, and Motor claims.
- Background in a commercial insurance environment.
- Awareness of Consumer Protection Code regulatory standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail with excellent prioritization skills.
