Role Overview
We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer for a dynamic technology company operating across Asia, focused on servicing financial institutions and corporate clients regionally. The company is poised for significant growth and requires a leader who will take comprehensive responsibility for its engineering division and engage directly in product development activities.
Role Responsibilities
The CTO will not only guide technical strategy but also be actively involved in implementation and decision-making processes. This position demands rapid execution, frequent product releases, and equal proficiency in directing both product and technical development. Ideal candidates may come from senior technology roles or senior product leadership combined with strong engineering expertise.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have experience in regulated, data-intensive financial or business services technology sectors or similar industries. Expertise in AI/ML technologies and cloud-native systems is vital. This role flourishes best in an agile, smaller-scale business environment as opposed to large corporate structures. Fluency in Mandarin is mandatory to collaborate effectively within the business.
