About RTR Pilates

RTR Pilates is the leading boutique reformer Pilates brand in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area, boasting a legacy of over 20 years centered on wellness, community, and quality service. The company is gearing up for rapid expansion across multiple studio locations and seeks a skilled operational leader to realize this vision.

Position Overview

Serving as the Integrator under the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), the Chief Operating Officer (COO) functions as the primary accountable leader within RTR’s executive team. Collaborating closely with the CEO (Visionary), the COO will drive the execution of long-term strategies, enhance profitability, eliminate operational obstacles, and ensure uniform operations across all studios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the leadership team by fostering alignment with key performance metrics, sustaining healthy team dynamics, and upholding RTR brand standards.
  • Manage the full profit and loss statement of the company, focusing on optimizing expenses at both corporate and studio levels to maximize return on investment and control costs.
  • Oversee and refine the process for opening new studios to facilitate smooth expansion into regional markets.
  • Convert long-term strategic objectives from the Vision/Traction Organizer (VTO) into actionable 90-day initiatives and weekly performance scorecards.
  • Lead transformative corporate projects by integrating new technologies and automation to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 to 8+ years of senior leadership experience in operations, such as COO or Vice President of Operations, demonstrated by successfully scaling multi-location enterprises.
  • Relevant industry experience in boutique fitness, luxury hospitality, or premium customer service sectors.
  • Expertise in financial management, including handling multi-million dollar profit and loss accounts and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is preferred, or a strong commitment to mastering it.
  • Leadership style characterized by stability, emotional intelligence, and the ability to enforce accountability while maintaining trust.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or equivalent executive experience is preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision health insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching.
  • Generous paid time off and holidays.
