About the Company
Our client is a venture capital-supported climate technology B2B SaaS company headquartered in Berlin, developing an AI-powered operating system that consolidates the entire workflow of energy-retrofit installers into a single platform. With backing from top-tier investors, they are focused on expanding their presence across Europe and the Americas, aiming to achieve approximately €100 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by 2028.
Key Responsibilities
- Steer international growth and commercial scaling efforts as a leader of multiple managers, reporting directly to the COO and Co-Founder, with full responsibility for Sales and Market Expansion.
- Lead market entry and growth initiatives in Spain, Brazil, Mexico, and the USA, aiming to increase revenue by 150% within the first year.
- Standardize and enhance the go-to-market strategy across different regions by integrating tele-sales and field sales into a unified approach.
- Guide and nurture go-to-market team leaders; design the structures for Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Account Executives (AEs).
- Set up regular pipeline and performance monitoring meetings and manage CRM and Sales AI tools for forecasting accuracy.
- Promote value-driven sales tactics by personally closing deals and mentoring sales teams in the field.
- Manage profit and loss at the country level, hire local market leaders, and build out sales teams as the company grows from 50 to more than 100 employees.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Over 7 years of experience in B2B SaaS, with significant involvement beyond Series A funding stages.
- Demonstrated success in establishing or scaling international markets within fast-growing companies.
- Previous leadership roles such as Chief Sales Officer, Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Business Development, or Chief Commercial Officer in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- Experience managing multiple managers across various geographic locations concurrently.
- A hands-on leader who develops strategy and actively participates in key account engagements.
- Experience in energy, climate technology, or AI-based industries is advantageous.
- Fluency in English and German is required; additional language skills are considered a plus.
- Must be based in Berlin and willing to work onsite five days per week.
