Chief Financial Officer

Overview

We seek a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join a confidential government organization based in Riyadh. This role calls for a visionary financial leader passionate about the sports, entertainment, and venues industries. The CFO will be instrumental in crafting and directing the company’s comprehensive financial strategy while managing complex structures such as joint ventures and multi-entity operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement overarching financial strategies including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Manage the financial results of various venues and projects ensuring profitability, enhancing margins, and boosting cash flow.
• Guarantee the accuracy of financial reporting and maintain compliance with SOCPA, IFRS, Zakat, VAT, and local regulatory frameworks.
• Oversee treasury operations including liquidity management, working capital optimization, banking relations, and mitigation of financial risks.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives such as ERP system rollouts, automation of reporting, and standardization of processes to support accelerated growth.
• Serve as the primary financial contact for joint venture partners, investors, shareholders, and the Board of Directors.
• Develop and guide a high-achieving finance team across both corporate and operational divisions.

Candidate Profile

• Mandatory Saudi nationality.
• Minimum 15 years of advancing financial leadership experience with at least 5 years in senior roles such as CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent positions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; advanced degrees (Master's or MBA) are highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are strongly favored.
• Demonstrated expertise in the sports, entertainment, venues, or facilities management sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi financial regulations, joint venture frameworks, and superior skills in executive stakeholder engagement.
