Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary CEO who thrives in building and scaling startup ventures, particularly in zero-to-one situations. This leadership opportunity involves guiding a venture-scale business through its growth milestones, including closing a Series A funding round.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute company strategy, vision, and fundraising efforts.
- Lead investor relations and finalize the next financing round.
- Develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy encompassing sales, marketing, and partnerships.
- Represent the company to universities, media, and the wider EdTech community.
- Collaborate closely with the founding technical team and board members.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a founder, co-founder, general manager, or growth-stage operator in technology or EdTech startups.
- Understanding of higher education purchasing processes, particularly admissions and enrollment.
- Track record of successfully raising venture capital and eagerness to repeat the process.
- Focus on achieving product-market fit, strong unit economics, and customer satisfaction.
- Comfortable with equity-based compensation models during value creation phases.
